![]() Christian Science Foundations and Organizations The Longyear Museum - For over three-quarters of a century, Longyear Museum has served the public, providing exhibits and resources about the life and achievements of Mary Baker Eddy, Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and her early students. The Museum moved into its new building in Chestnut Hill, MA in 1999. Permanent exhibits on Mrs. Eddy, her family and students are now open. The Principle Foundation - The mission of The Principle Foundation is to uplift thought from the belief of lack and limitation through education and communication, while offering temporary assistance to individuals in support of the expectation and demonstration of Christian Science healing. Asher Student Foundation - The purpose of Asher Student Foundation is to serve the cause of Christian Science by providing services to students pursuing educational growth in accredited colleges and universities, or in certificate programs. Asher Student Foundation maintains residences in accordance with the standards of Christian Science for students attending a college, university, vocational, or professional training school. Clearway Foundation - is a non-profit organization that provides funding for activities that support and promote non-profit Christian Science nursing, such as Visiting Nurse Service organizations, training for Christian Science nurses, and established care facilities for Christian Scientists. We provide funds to non-profit care facilities to help guests unable to meet the costs on their own. Daystar Foundation and Library - Daystar was established in 1990 to collect, care for, and make available books, papers, and memorabilia relating to the early days of Christian Science, its Discoverer and Founder, Mary Baker Eddy, and those individuals who helped her in the fledgling stages of the Christian Science movement. The Albert Baker Fund provides financial aid to Christian Scientists enrolled in college or vocational schools as well as Christian Sciences Nurses-in-training seeking listing in the Christian Science Journal. It also provides some scholarships for counselors at Christian Science camps and interns at The Mother Church in Boston.
